On a personal note…
“I am married to my husband of over thirty years. I am active in rescuing abandoned and abused animals, and a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church. Christ is the center of my practice. I have an understanding of chronic pain that goes beyond my formal education. I have chronic neck pain from a gymnastic injury suffered in high school, and chronic shoulder pain from an injury inflicted by one of my rescue dogs. However I feel that God helps me to use these pains to understand the impact of chronic pain that my patients are going through.” — Dr. Kathryn Herndon
