Onsite Facilities
It is never convenient to have to travel for blood work or tests. And for those times when simply getting in and out of the car is hard, the task can feel even more difficult. Georgia Pain Management and Diagnostics understands the special challenges that pain can produce and strives to make your experience as simple and easy as possible by offering a variety of onsite services just for you.

X-Ray Services
With the most advanced digital X-ray equipment onsite, you can simply walk across the hall instead of driving across town for diagnostic imaging. X-rays help your physician detect and properly treat a variety of conditions that cause pain and having X-ray services right here means results are processed more quickly and you will be ready to start your treatment plan sooner.
Blood Draws
Outpatient laboratories can take hours to process your blood work. From signing in, to waiting in line, the process can be frustrating. At Georgia Pain Management and Diagnostics, our personal phlebotomist is here to draw any necessary blood work so you can get on with your day more quickly.
Procedure Area and Advanced Monitoring Equipment
When your care requires a procedure, Dr. Herndon is triple-board certified in a variety of pain management techniques. From epidurals to steroid and Botox injections, you will benefit from not having to travel to the hospital for procedures. With advanced monitoring equipment and skilled staff onsite, we complete as many procedures as possible here in the office. When indicated, more advanced techniques may be completed on an outpatient basis at Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s ambulatory surgery center.
Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy
On-site ultrasound equipment is beneficial for the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and disorders. Fluoroscopy is used to diagnose a variety of spinal conditions and provides not just a picture, but also a real-time moving image of what’s happening inside your body.
Conscious Sedation
It isn’t always convenient to be put to sleep for a procedure, and many times it’s not necessary to be so heavily sedated. For these times, Dr. Herndon offers conscious sedation— a process of administering specific medications that allow for pain-free procedures without the groggy feeling afterwards.
